Facelift model supplied new on the 1st January 1988 by The Royal Ascot Garage of Berkshire (BMW main dealer 16246).
Ordered new in Cirrus Blue Metallic with natural cloth interior trim.
Options specified included a manual tilt & slide sunroof, electric passenger mirror, green tint glass, rear armrest & central locking with a BMW anti-theft system. Royal Ascot then dealer fitted a Blaupunkt Cambridge stereo, speakers & electric aerial which still remain in the car today.
The extensive BMW main agent history file shows the car has religiously been returned to the previous owner’s local dealer Cooper BMW of Thames Ditton in Surrey with every Cooper BMW invoice for servicing, Annual MOT’s & any other work required. Later invoices show he has continued to do so on behalf of his daughter.
Every invoice is present & is main dealer. All booklets are present in the correct original early white owners information folder along with the original service booklet containing 23 BMW dealer stamps & the Blaupunkt Cambridge Stereo handbook still in it’s original cover.
All original supplied BMW keys / BMW alarm fobs are still present as is the Cooper Thames Ditton BMW rear window sticker & the original Cooper Thames Ditton number plates.
In short this is very a low mileage original example with an extensive history file showing a fastidious & cherished ownership.
It is becoming increasingly hard to find good solid BMW E30 manual cars like this.
